Generations Working Together
This podcast features Lorraine George, Learning and Development Officer from Generations Working Together (GWT). Lorraine outlines the benefits of generations working together and how people of all ages can learn from each other. This is an important part of Lifelong Learning, where the generations work together to gain skills, values, and knowledge. Beyond the transfer of knowledge, it fosters reciprocal learning relationships between different generations and helps develop social capital and social cohesion in our ageing societies. Lorraine also talks about their newly published teacher resource that can be utilised by schools to develop their own intergenerational programmes linked to experiences and outcomes.
