The Curriculum Improvement Cycle – Focus on Interdisciplinary Learning
Education Scotland is leading a systematic review of the Scottish curriculum called the Curriculum Improvement Cycle. This podcast episode looks at Interdisciplinary Learning and how it’s being strengthened through the Curriculum Improvement Cycle. Education Scotland’s Leigh Watson is joined by Jenny Mackay, Headteacher at Sorn Primary School in East Ayrshire, and Andrew Baxby, Secondary Depute Headteacher currently working in the Quality Improvement team at Falkirk Council. Listen as they explore what’s been emerging from this work so far and how the evolved technical framework can support schools to design learning that is relevant, connected and meaningful.
