The Pedagogy Podcast Show Notes
Episode 8 – Bex Ewart in conversation with Professor Dr Ger Graus

In this episode Bex discusses pedagogy with pioneer and visionary Professor Dr Ger Graus OBE, an internationally renowned expert in the field of education. Professor Dr Graus was the first Global Director of Education at KidZania, and, prior to that, the founding CEO of the Children’s University. He was made an Honorary Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2014 for his services to children.

“The aspirations of our youngsters are held down not by them – but by those around them.
We need to think differently, we need to plan around the child. We are there to build different scaffolding around each child so that they can climb as high as they want to climb.
Children can only aspire to be what they know exists”.
